Terms and Conditions for Online Sales

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER FROM CAROLINE VYZAS , AND RETAIN A COPY OF THEM AND YOUR ORDER FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

BY CONTINUING WITH A PURCHASE IT IS DEEMED THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Terms

The terms of sale set out here apply to goods supplied by Caroline Vyzas, Switzerland, ordered from the Caroline Vyzas website at www.carolinevyzas.com. By continuing with a purchase it is deemed that you have read, understood and agree to these terms and conditions.

You must be 18 years of age or older to order from the website and by accepting these terms and conditions you are confirming this.

Caroline Vyzas reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without notice to you in relation to future sales.

These terms do not create any rights to any parties other than the purchaser.

Orders and Prices

Caroline Vyzas uses Stripe as its online purchasing system.


Caroline Vyzas accepts payment by any of the credit cards shown as acceptable on the website at time of purchase.

All prices are shown in Euros and are subject to VAT and delivery charges unless stated otherwise. These charges where applicable will be added on confirmation of your address and payment details and prior to the order being placed during the payment process.

All prices may be subject to change.

The description and price of goods will be as shown on the website at the time you place your order. If an error is discovered prior to despatch of your order, Caroline Vyzas will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling your order.

When ordering online your order will be sent to Caroline Vyzas via Shopify by email. You will also receive an email receipt to confirm Caroline Vyzas has received your order. Should you not receive an email please contact Caroline Vyzas by email at Caroline.vyzas@gmail.com.

All goods are subject to availability. If on receipt of your order the goods are out of stock, Caroline Vyzas will inform you and refund or re-credit you for any sum that has been paid by you for the unavailable goods.

Caroline Vyzas is under no obligation to accept any order.

Delivery

All delivery times quoted on Caroline Vyzas website are estimates based on availability, normal processing and delivery times. Caroline Vyzas may deliver items from the same order separately but will charge for postage and packing as per the original order.

Goods ordered will be delivered to the address given when the order was placed, subject to receipt of an order confirmation email.

All work, except the A4 giclée prints, will be sent to you by courier service. Caroline Vyzas will endeavour to deliver purchased art within 30 business days of receipt of payment unless otherwise stated on the website, or advised by email at the time of purchase.

Giclée prints A4 will be sent by the Swiss postal services. 

 

If there is no one available at the delivery address to accept delivery of couriered goods, you will be notified of an alternative delivery date or place to collect the goods. A signature will be required on delivery for couriered and special delivery purchases. Receipt of a signature at the delivery address for any order will act as proof that the order has been delivered to you.

Once the artwork is considered delivered, responsibility for the work, risk of damage or loss will pass to you and you shall be responsible for insuring the work.

If Caroline Vyzas is unable to deliver your order within 30 days, she will inform you as soon as possible and you will be entitled to cancel the order and obtain a full refund that will be paid to the credit or debit card with which you originally paid for your order.

Caroline Vyzas is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through any unavoidable delay in delivery of an order. Caroline Vyzas is not liable for any damage which occurs to an order after a delivery has been made.

Address Changes

 If you provided us with an incorrect or incomplete address upon checkout, please notify us as soon as possible at Caroline.vyzas@gmail.com. If you fail to notify us of an address change prior to the shipment of your order, you will be responsible for any additional shipping costs. Once the original package is returned to us and the additional shipping costs have been received, we will reship your order.

 

 

Ownership and Copyright

Once an artwork is in your possession you may not publish or submit for publication or reproduction any image of an artwork to any third party including the internet for any purpose. Copyright belongs to the artist Caroline Vyzas. Images of sold paintings may still be used by Caroline Vyzas for any future use including but not limited to advertising, books and other publications, social media and other web based use.

Payment Security

Caroline Vyzas uses Stripe for online payments. Stripe allow us to safely process your credit card payments and complete the financial transactions as securely as possible. Caroline Vyzas is not liable for any unauthorised access to information supplied by you.

Privacy

Caroline Vyzas does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. Please see our privacy statement for further details.
